midjourney-folder-map Map local X-series creative projects to the correct Midjourney organize folder URL before browser-based generation. Use when creating or generating Midjourney images for X projects such as X27, when navigating midjourney.com/organize folders, or when the user mentions Midjourney web folder mapping.

Midjourney Folder Map

Overview

Use this skill before any browser-based Midjourney generation for an X-series project. The goal is to keep each project generation inside the matching Midjourney folder instead of using the default organize page or the wrong project folder.

Folder Rule

For normal X-series projects, derive the Midjourney folder URL directly from the X number:

https://www.midjourney.com/organize?folder=XNN

Examples:

  • X27 -> https://www.midjourney.com/organize?folder=X27
  • X25 -> https://www.midjourney.com/organize?folder=X25
  • X08 -> https://www.midjourney.com/organize?folder=X08

Workflow

  1. Identify the local project number from the user request or project path.
  2. Build the target Midjourney URL with the folder rule above.
  3. Navigate to that exact URL before entering or submitting a prompt.
  4. Confirm the visible page or current URL still contains the intended folder=XNN value before generation.
  5. If the requested folder is missing, empty, inaccessible, or redirects away, stop and ask the user to create or grant access to the folder.

Known Exception

The user indicated that the shoes project is an exception to the normal X-number rule, but the exact shoes folder URL was not provided in the original instruction. Until that URL is known, do not guess the shoes folder. For X03 or any request described as the shoes project, ask the user for the intended Midjourney folder URL or inspect existing project notes if the task can wait.

Safety Notes

  • A Midjourney prompt submission is an external generation action. Proceed when the user explicitly asked to generate with Midjourney.
  • If login, payment, CAPTCHA, or account permission blocks generation, pause for user action.
  • Do not move prompts between X folders unless the user explicitly asks.
